Abstrak

Broadcasting systems, communication networks, and radio and television media management are essential components of modern mass communication. The broadcasting system is understood as the process of delivering information, entertainment, and education to a wide audience through electronic media such as radio, television, and digital platforms. It covers the technical components of broadcasting, the historical development of radio and television globally and in Indonesia, and the characteristics of broadcast media that distinguish it from print media. It also outlines the concept of networks in communication, which act as a link between individuals, organizations, and devices to accelerate information distribution and strengthen collaboration. In the context of television media management, the classic POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management functions are applied to effectively manage programs, human resources, technology, and marketing. The television news coverage management process is also systematically discussed, from pre-production, production, to post-production. It emphasizes that the success of broadcast media is determined not only by technological sophistication, but also by program management strategies, audience research, effective communication networks, and the media's ability to adapt to changing audience behavior and developments in digital technology. With optimal integration between broadcasting systems, communication networks, and media management, broadcasting institutions are expected to be able to maintain relevance, increase competitiveness, and achieve sustainability in the era of media convergence.
